Bridal Shower

My sweet soon-to-be sister-in-law, Haven, hosted a bridal shower for me this weekend! I had a great time with a few friends and family members. Some of the gifts I received will undoubtedly make Travis blush!

Later that evening, Travis and I were able to spend some time with Rhett, Kristol and her kids. It was great to get to know them a litte!

Engagement Pictures

          Last night, we met with our lovely photographer, Emma Vidmar, and got our engagement pictures! Travis is so photogenic! I, on the other hand, have a weird smile and chunky neck. Travis helped me to see that our pictures are wonderful because we both are so happy in them!
Tonight we are going to meet with a caterer and have some yummy free food!
We are so in love. I don't think I can emphasize enough how happy we are to be spending eternity together!

Puppies and Shoes and Cars, Oh my!

This weekend, Travis took me up to Salt Lake so we could meet a puppy I fell in love with (I was supposed to be doing homework, but who can concentrate when there are so many homeless, fuzzy creatures out there!)!

 

His name is Broccoli and he is two years old. Here is his story: How Broccoli made it to the adoption center.

Meeting him was an incredible experience. Unfortunately, we don't have any where to keep him for the next few months and another lady is interested in adopting him. Hopefully he ends up in a home were he can be happy!

We also found some super cute and comfortable shoes for me to wear with my dress in 56 days (yay)!!
Also, we've been discussing getting a new car so I have a way to get around while sweet Trav is at work. If you know of anyone who's selling, let us know!

This past week has been a busy one for Travis and I. I had a paper and three midterms to take, along with cold medicine. Travis had work and ended up going to the gym by himself :(
We met with a wedding consultant and have a few more ideas about how we are going to get everything done in time...

We are incredibly in love, which makes it hard to do my Statistics homework, but sooooo worth it!
